A worker was injured while working on a job for our company; can I just send them home?
No. It’s important to ensure an injured worker receives appropriate medical treatment for injuries, this also includes first aid. If it’s a minor injury and the worker is sent home, the injury will be considered a LTI (Lost Time Incident). It’s important to ensure all workplace injuries are properly managed to ensure the workers’ health.
